win2k did not overwrite MBR, simply because the boot code is too large to
fit into MBR. actually, win2k changed the active partition. your must get
some warning when you install win2k, didn't you ? :-) under control panel,
or somewhere else, find disk manager, activate the partition where lilo exists.
don't forget add following lines in your /etc/lilo.conf then re-run lilo
as root!

  other=/dev/hda1
      label=win2k
      table=/dev/hda

otherwise, you will never boot your win2k.

these codes come from my /etc/lilo.conf, it is almost true that you should
change /dev/hda1 and /dev/hda to your own values. don't blame me if you made
something bad :-O

if they are not in the same disk, you must swap them, check HOWTOs for detail
because i can't remember that.
